Hello and welcome. For those of you who don’t know me, I’m Bret Calder, bass player for I,Parasite and Android Lust. I began Rhona in the spring of 2009 as an outlet with no boundries for the many musical ideas that keep me awake at night. The project came together quickly. Using synthlette’s, a name Christopher Jon coined for the palm sized synthesizers, as well as “homemade” instruments, a body of abstract soundscapes were born. The tracks were recorded live as they were to intended to sound in the final mix, with no manipulation once recorded.
